Db33 Game Concepts: Roulette Coverage and Limbo Targets

Man beside a roulette table — Db33

Different formats use different decision rules. European Roulette Pro uses numbered pockets and bet coverage, while a Limbo format compares a chosen multiplier target with a generated result. These mechanics should not be treated as interchangeable.

This page explains game formats and rules; it is not a playable lobby. Check the relevant service for current game availability and the exact version in use.

European roulette: pockets and coverage

The European Roulette Pro rules describe a wheel with 37 pockets: numbers 1 through 36 and one green zero. Straight-up bets cover one number; split, street, corner and line bets cover progressively larger groups. Outside bets include red or black, odd or even, and 1–18 or 19–36.

Zero is separate from those red/black, odd/even and range bets. A red bet therefore covers 18 of 37 pockets, while a one-number bet covers 1 of 37. Covering more pockets generally means a smaller stated payout, because the bet wins across a wider set. Neighbour, special, favourite and preset bets are additional ways of grouping selections described by the provider rules.

A roulette probability example

Suppose a player places a hypothetical red bet. Its basic pocket coverage is 18 out of 37, approximately 48.65%; the green zero is not red. A hypothetical straight-up bet on 17 covers 1 out of 37, approximately 2.70%. Seventeen is black and eighteen is red, and their colours do not change because of earlier spins.

A history panel records previous results only. It cannot make a number ‘due’ or predict the next spin. The exact return still depends on the specific bet type and rule screen governing that version.

Limbo: target versus generated result

A Limbo format involves a stake, a selected target multiplier and a generated result. The central decision is whether the generated result reaches the selected target. Manual and automatic modes are described in the BGaming rule book, but that document does not identify the supplier or implementation used elsewhere.

A higher target makes the qualifying threshold harder to reach; it does not guarantee better expected returns. A Limbo target is set before the generated result, whereas a crash-style cash-out involves a decision during the round. Keep those two decision points separate.

Risk and record-keeping

Use only money you can afford to lose, keep a record of total stakes rather than only visible wins, and stop if play becomes stressful or difficult to control. Small repeated rounds can create substantial turnover even when each individual stake looks modest.

Questions about games

Why does zero matter in European roulette?

The wheel has 37 pockets, including one green zero. Zero is not red, black, odd, even, low or high, so those outside bets cover 18 of 37 pockets rather than 19.

What does a Limbo multiplier target mean?

The selected target is compared with the generated result. Reaching the target is the relevant rule decision; a higher target is not proof of a better expected return.

Is a mobile shortcut the same as an app?

No. A browser shortcut saves a web address on the home screen, while a native application is separately installed software. They are different access methods.
